Experience Viceroy Anguilla’s inaugural Culinary Conclave February 15 – 17, 2013. Enjoy cuisines from some of the world’s most noted chefs including Jonathan Waxman, Johnny Iuzzini and Kevin Sbraga. Throughout the weekend, these award-winning chefs will treat guests during palate-pleasing events as they gather to celebrate food and wine in the natural beauty of the British West Indies. An all-inclusive weekend package at the Viceroy Anguilla, as well as separate tickets for each event, will be offered.

The weekend will begin with a welcome reception on Friday evening with delicacies prepared by Viceroy Anguilla’s Executive Chef Cliff Denny along with local island chefs. Proceeds from the evening will go to support the island’s professional culinary education scholarship program. Guest celebrity chefs will mix and mingle in this al fresco environment overlooking the Aleta pool and waters of the Caribbean Sea. It’s the perfect opportunity to embark on a gastronomic journey in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

  • Friday – Welcome Reception Come meet the visiting Chefs while the island’s best chefs prepare a variety of the island’s passed hors d’oeuvres to welcome everyone to this exceptional weekend.
  • Saturday – An extraordinary Gala Dinner at Coba, the highlight of the weekend – a four course meal prepared by the celebrated chefs, supporting Share Our Strength
  • Sunday – “Let’s Talk Food” where Chefs Jonathan Waxman, Kevin Sbraga and Johnny Iuzzini share their secrets to success and behind-the-scenes experiences from Bravo’s Top Chef series.

Chef DennyChef Cliff Denny
A graduate of Hastings College on the south coast of England, Cliff’s career began in some of the finest kitchens in England. His first major culinary position was with Chef Bernard Gaume at the Chelsea Room located in the five-star deluxe Hyatt Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge, London, serving classical French cuisine.

Johnny LuzziniJohnny Iuzzini
Pastry Chef Johnny Iuzzini has won many accolades including James Beard Foundation “Pastry Chef of the Year”, the “10 Most Influential Pastry Chefs in America” by Forbes, “Best New Pastry Chef” by New York Magazine, and named one of the “Top Ten Pastry Chefs in America” two years in a row by Pastry Arts and Design.  He is the head judge of Bravo’s culinary competition series Top Chef: Just Desserts.

Kevin SbragaKevin Sbraga
A graduate of Johnson & Wales’ prestigious College of Culinary Arts, Chef Kevin Sbraga takes his no boundaries approach to modern American cuisine to new heights at Sbraga, an Esquire magazine “Best New Restaurant” and one of Philadelphia magazine’s “Best Restaurants of 2013.” Chef Sbraga was the winner of Bravo’s seventh season of “Top Chef” and received the award for “Best Meat Presentation” in the 2008 Bocuse d’Or USA culinary competition.

Johnathon WaxmanJonathan Waxman
Jonathan Waxman is the chef and owner of Barbuto in New York City, author of cookbooks “A Great American Cook” and “Italian My Way,” and a former contestant on Bravo’s Top Chef Masters Season 2. Waxman is revered nationwide as one of the pioneers of California cuisine and is credited with being the first to bring its style, fusing French cooking techniques with the freshest local ingredients, to New York.
