Best Dining in Anguilla – The Lunch Spots

Anguilla is known as much for their delectable food as they are the dreamy beaches and postcard vistas. The island radiates AUTHENTICITY in its people, its places, and its cuisine. All of Anguilla is an experience for the senses, as much a tropical getaway as a state of mind. And when you’re staying in Anguilla, at your perfect resort or villa where the relaxation flows as smooth and natural as the azure waters lapping gently ashore, you’ll want to eat the finest food. We’ve got the inside scoop on our three favourite places to get lunch in Anguilla. So good you can almost taste it.

da’Vida Beach Bar

Welcome to a little piece of paradise where life is celebrated to its fullest. Here in Crocus Bay, nestled along the sugar soft sand, you’ll find an Anguillian experience unlike any other. The celebrated chef serves up delightful dishes in both local and international style, and you’re guaranteed something mouth-watering. Pull up a canopied daybed on the beach and lean back in this easy-going groove haven where the food comes right to your spot on the sand. Frequented by locals and tourists alike, da’Vida Beach Bar also features a spa on site; so you pamper yourself thoroughly, if you so choose.

Geraud’s Patisserie

Quite possibly the greatest sandwich on the island, Geraud’s serves a delightful lunch in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Monsieur Geraud, a Frenchman with an impressive resume as five-star chef in restaurants around the world, runs a thriving business in Anguilla (just down from the CuisinArt Resort) serving fresh salads, soups, and specials du jour. There’s a reason celebrities frequent this spot when they’re on vacation in Anguilla: the food is exquisite and made with the finest ingredients, like the tuna sandwich served on a baguette (a must-try).

Smokey’s at The Cove

This locally owned and operated bar and restaurant is authentic Anguillian; legendary as much for its menu as the local entertainment that gets this place vibing. Located a short walk from Cap Juluca Resort on one of the most gorgeous beaches at Cove Bay, Smokey’s offers an excellent seafood selection and a drink menu of refreshing rum punches, frozen drinks, and ice cold beers. “Lime” on the sand and soak up the good times on this unspoilt piece of beachfront bliss. Come for the lunch in the relaxing atmosphere under the palm trees and return again at night for live local music.
