Anguilla is a top shelf luxury retreat for all ages and family arrangements with its veritable plethora of awesome things to do. This legendary island in the Leewards is known for its vibrant mystique and independent nature, where people come to live the way they wish to live and soak up the premium life in all its glorious facets. It’s home to some of the planet’s most stunning beaches, resorts and villas and is entirely seductive to everyone fortunate enough to experience its charm. While there are certainly abundant opportunities for romance, there are also some excellent options for children to have a blast. (Perhaps making the perfect opportunity for mom and dad to experience some of that romance.)
While all the resorts we’ve hand-selected offer something outstanding, some are more geared to family excursions with children. This is where the best Kids Clubs in Anguilla come in. But we’ll just go ahead and spill the beans right now – there is only one true kids club and it’s at the Viceroy Anguilla. However, there are other resorts that offer programs, amenities, and activities catered to kids, while not being an actual kids club. Either way, if you’re looking for something for the whole family, give these options a try. Or, as always, call our destination experts for a hassle-free chat about our various options that are best suited for you.
Viceroy is one of the coolest resorts in the world. It’s basically an entire work of art that you enter and experience, decked out in super stylish modern architecture that flows with the gorgeous tropical environment. The rooms are perfect and the activities are quite unique that you’d be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. For example: where else have you stayed that features not only multiple full size NBA basketball courts to practice your tomahawk dunks and putting/chipping green to practice your swangs, but a multi-pitch rock climbing wall to practice overcoming your fear of heights. There are three awesome pools to choose from, each providing something slightly different. One is more for lap swimming and one is specifically for families, ie. young’uns. There’s also bonfires on the beach in case it could possibly get any dreamier.
The Kids Club is called Generation V and it is excellent. It’s located in an full facility to itself and is decked out with so many games and activities to keep the kids well occupied as they have fun and learn while making friends and awesome memories to look back on fondly, decades later. Activities include treasure and scavenger hunts, beach olympics, jewelry making and sand art. There’s also a Teen’s Club, for the kids who don’t like being called kids, with a chill clubhouse where they can kick back and do teen stuff and watch movies at the media center or take interesting classes on cool stuff not school stuff 😉 such as steel drum lessons, yoga and tai chi, sailing and cricket.
This awesomely healthy and vibrant resort is great for families with kids as well, especially if you’re into good food and/or teaching your kids the value of good natural food. It’s home to one of the only hydroponic farms on a resort, living up to the quality of the CuisinArt name of home appliances. The vibes are positive and the herbs and crops are fresh as heck, all facilitating a truly health conscious and health focused environment. There’s cooking classes for the whole family and fun activities like sailing, tennis, snorkeling, kayaking, golfing and biking. Get vibrant here at CuisinArt.
Home of the world’s only hydroponic farm owned by a resort, CuisinArt Resort grows its own fresh salad crops and herbs exclusively for the resort, facilitating a truly healthy environment. It’s a resort where the whole family will flourish. Stay active and entertained with water sports like snorkeling and kayaks, play tennis, or go sailing, golfing and biking. Mom and Dad will love the rejuvenation that comes from the Venus Spa. Sign the whole family up for cooking classes. Everyone young to old will love the vibrant experience at CuisinArt.
Carimar Beach Club
Another spot that doesn’t have a kids club (sorry for the misleading article title) but caters to families with kids is Carimar. It’s an excellent value and an affordable option for the otherwise expensive island of Anguilla. You’ll get a big suite and lots of activities and things to do for the whole family. Make your own kids club with the help of the excellent concierge who will get you all sorted out with the best things to do. Anguilla is for the youth and the youthful, bringing out the child in us all.
